Is War 2 a hit or a flop?
The film is a hit. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, has been one of the most talked-about films of 2025. The movie carried enormous expectations from both fans and trade analysts. War 2 opened in theaters on August 14, 2025 creating a great buzz in the internet.
By the end of its 16-day theatrical run, War 2 had accumulated a net collection of ₹239.36 crore in India till now.As per the reports the film struggled to cross 250 crores mark in the domestic box office.The film grossed approximately $8 million (around ₹70 crore) from overseas markets.

India’s biggest stars from different industries, with Hrithik Roshan coming off the ₹475 crore hit War (2019) and Jr NTR following the ₹1200 crore blockbuster RRR the movie was expected to do well in the box office.
