
Chief Minister Ladli Bahana Yojana
This scheme has been launched by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on 5 March 2023, which aims to make women self-reliant by providing them regular financial assistance.
The main objective of the scheme was to enhance the self-reliance of every eligible woman by providing them monthly financial assistance (₹1250 to ₹1500).
Improve nutritional levels and access to health services, especially of women and their children from poor and middle-class families.
Eligibility for Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana
- The woman should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh
- The woman can be married, widow, divorced or abandoned. (Single women are not eligible.)
- The age of the woman should be between 21 to 60 years.
- Age is calculated as on 1st January (as of the year).
- The annual income of the family should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- The woman’s family should not be an income tax payer.
- No member of the family should be in government service
- The family should not have more than 5 acres of agricultural land.
- The family should not own any four-wheeler.(except tractor).
- No member of the family should be a pensioner (government pension).
- The woman must have an Aadhaar card, Samagra ID, and a bank account linked to Aadhaar.
- Mobile number should be linked with Aadhaar and e-KYC should be complete.
- Woman’s name should be linked in the Samagra Family ID.

- Aadhar Card – Identity proof of the applicant
- Related mobile number – for OTP and SMS
- Samagra ID – for eligibility verification
- Copy of bank passbook – for DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer)
