PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a government scheme, which was implemented from 1 December 2018.The people are yet to get their last installment on 2nd December this year.
Reason The Scheme PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Was Launched
- Fulfill the requirements of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation etc.
- Help with farming expenses by giving direct assistance of ₹6,000 per year.
- No need to take loans again and again due to the assistance received from the government.
- Increasing activity in rural markets by increasing the purchasing power of farmers.
- Corruption free payments through DBT.
- Create a self-reliant and self-respecting farmer society.
Eligibility for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
- Must be a citizen of India.
- They should have up to 2 hectares of cultivable land (now all land holders are eligible).
- His name should be recorded as a farmer in the revenue records (Khatauni).
- For a joint family, only one member will get the benefit.
- Farmer’s KYC (Aadhaar Verification) should be completed.
- Farmer’s bank account and Aadhaar number should be linked.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (How to Apply)
- Visit the official website of PM Kisan: https://pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on Farmers Corner option in the menu.
- From there click on New Farmer Registration.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and fill the captcha and click Continue.
- Fill in all your details-Name, Address, State, District, Bank Account Details, Land Details
- Submit and save a print or screenshot of the receipt.
