Dhadak 2 hit or flop
The film was made on an estimated budget of ₹60-65 crores. And as per the reports the worldwide gross collection is approximately ₹29-30 crores. Which clearly means that the movie is a flop.
Dhadak 2 faced tough competition from blockbusters like Saiyaara (which grossed over $53 million globally) and the animated film Mahavatar Narsimha.
The film received generally favorable reviews from critics, but could not do much in the box office. The film is a sequel of Dhadak. The film was released on only about 1,000 screens in India, which limited its reach.
Films like Saiyaara, Mahavatar Narsimha made it more difficult for the movie to grab the attention. Not only that but the movie was postponed multiple times and eventually released alongside bigger films, further hampering its performance.
