Rajinikanth’s Record Breaking Fees For Coolie
Rajinikanth,74 is one of the legendary actor of our film industry. Rajinikanth had earlier fixed a fee of Rs 150 crore. But after the makers announcement of the movie, the bookings and the buzz the maker gave him 200 crores as fee to do the movie.
There is no confirmation from the makers of the film but as per the reports 200 crores was given to the superstar. Even at the age of 74, Rajinikanth has become one of the most expensive actors in Asia. The actor is not only the highest paid actor of the south but also full india.
The film could not so well in the box office due to which the makers are in tension .the film got a though competition with the hindi movie war 2.But as per the reports Coolie has surpassed War 2 in terms of bookings.
Coolie was made with an overall budget of Rs 350-400 crore. According to reports, the film has reportedly earned Rs 240 crore by selling OTT, satellite, and music rights.
Many critics and viewers felt the film was overly long and had pacing issues, especially in the first half.The storyline was criticized for being too simplistic and not living up to the complex.
